Follow the tracks of the original Hoerikwaggo trail from Cape Point to Mouille Point

Table Mountain is an iconic natural wonder in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa. With its breathtaking views, diverse flora and fauna and historical significance. Beyond its striking physical appearance, Table Mountain boasts a rich tapestry of biodiversity. A World Heritage Site, it is home to an array of unique plant and animal species, many of which are found nowhere else on earth.

Designed as a 'slackpacking' route. You'll hike with a light day pack and we'll take care of all resupply and refreshments on route. The 'deep south' or cape peninsula can be quite exposed to weather- this may play a part in route planning.

Itinerary

Day 1: Cape Point Lighthouse to Smitswinkel via Buffels Bay - 15km

Day 2: Smitswinkel to Simon's Town - 10km

Day 3: Kommetjie to Hout Bay via Noordhoek Beach and

Chapmans Peak - 18km

Day 4: Hout Bay to the cable car station via Orange kloof - 16km

This multi-day slack pack hike takes place. Participants require a good level of fitness.
